Chiropractic is a healthcare discipline that specializes in the musculoskeletal system. Its goal is recovering and maintaining optimal health without resorting to the use of drugs or surgery, but rather based on the inherent ability of the body to heal itself.

This specialty focuses on the prevention and management of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on the functioning of the nervous system (including the spine) to improve health and quality of life. The chiropractic approach offers both curative and preventive care. That is to say, not only providing symptom relief, but also working to avoid developing symptoms related to the malfunction of your spine and other joints.

Your chiropractor is able to assess your condition and give both a diagnosis and treatment plan as well as provide care primarily focused on chiropractic “adjustments”.
