| The Esmonde Technique is an effective total body workout developed ten years ago by Miranda Esmonde-White. It is an original combination of scientific formulas and graceful movements that unlock uncomfortably rigid muscles leaving the participant with a more flexible, relaxed and strengthened body. The exercises reach deeply into muscles and ligaments not normally worked in the average fitness program and are set in routines that release tight muscles one by one. The results come quickly - not over years, but in a matter of minutes. Increased flexibility is enjoyed instantly. The results of following Classical Stretch three times per week leaves the participant with improved posture, increased energy, a slenderized body, the relief of aches and pains, and a general feeling of well being. ABOUT MIRANDA ESMONDE-WHITE:
Miranda began her dancing career at the young age of 10, when she left home to study at the world-renowned ballet school,The National Ballet School of Canada. She later went on to joining its company and toured around the world performing ballets including Romeo and Juliet and Swan Lake. After breaking her foot, she entered the world of business and marketing eventually opening her own dance & fitness center. It was here that she developed Classical Stretch, The Esmonde Technique - a program for people looking for an alternative to aerobics. It soon became the fastest growing program at her center! Along with a relief for lower back pain and various health conditions, it produced the unexpected results of a long lean body (the one everyone dreams of…).
The technique quickly evolved into one of the most effective flexibility and injury prevention programs, catching the attention of the National Sports Institute. It is now a compulsory program for many National and Olympic athletes training in Montreal. |
