May 3, 2019

We are pleased to announce that we have completed the portion of our operations that will be relocated to the Omni Hotel by finalizing the agreements to two more temporary locations. This will allow us to have access to two additional studios for our group classes, in addition to an indoor pool and two squash courts.

We added the Studio Essentrics on Stanley Street, located behind the Sofitel Hotel, and also have access (under certain conditions) to the fitness center of the Delta Hotel, situated on President Kennedy Avenue at the corner of City Councillors Street (8 blocks further east from the MAA).

As previously mentioned, it has been quite challenging to relocate 80,000 square feet and close to 3,000 members in the downtown area; but we are pleased to be able to continue to offer, albeit on a smaller scale, most of our existing classes and activities.

Please take the time to read this e-mail in its entirety and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at

Your current membership and fee structure will end on July 31, 2019. Click on the follwing link to download the new fee schedule that will be in effect starting August 1, 2019, detailing all of the various options that will be available, as well as what kind of services and activities we will be able to offer.

Visits to these temporary locations will not be possible before mid-July and therefore our new membership fees will be based on the Flex option, which can be cancelled at any time. We will send you a new membership form to complete for this purpose.

Click on the following link for more information on the pools available at the Delta and the Omni.

Please note we are aware that the options we have successfully finalized will not be suitable for every member and that depending on your fitness practises, you may chose to leave until our reopening in 2021. If this is the case, we will send you a list of some other clubs or gyms that you may prefer and with a discount specifically designed for you.

Unfortunately, we have not been able to develop any options for badminton, volleyball and basketball, but we have negotiated an agreement with the downtown YMCA for a special offer where our members can enjoy these sports.

We would also like to add that if there is more demand than that the Omni can facilitate, we will have to prioritize available places by membership seniority.

In closing, we realise that the next two years will not offer you the same member experience that you are currently accustomed to, however even though we have not finalized this part yet, we expect to have an enhanced offer for all members who remain with us during the transition period. More information about this special offer will be communicated to you in due time.

Best regards,

Pierre Blanchet
President-General Manager
