Athletic Therapy

Our athletic therapists treat a wide variety of patients.

They can care for both the child with a concussion and the elderly who have had hip surgery. Our professionals use different manual therapies, modalities, recommend exercises, as well as strengthening techniques and restrictive or proprioceptive adhesive tapings.

Treatments vary, but the goal of athletic therapy remains the same: to help patients return to their usual activities, whether that is playing competitive sports or leisurely walking and gardening.

Sports therapy is often used as a supplement to active rehabilitation to effectively treat muscle, bone and joint injuries.
