Pilates on Apparatus

Strengthen your back, abs, legs and arms with deep rhythmic breathing.

Pilates on apparatus allows targeted work to strengthen the parts of the body necessary for healing or injury prevention.

The new Pilates Studio at the MAA will offer private training on apparatus with expert instructors.

Specially designed Pilates equipment, such as the reformer, the chair and the trapeze table, will accommodate members and non-members wanting to develop their overall strength, flexibility and coordination.

Elite athletes can compliment their training with Pilates by learning how to exercise their body more efficiently and keeping it in optimal alignment.

Pilates is also very effective in helping to alleviate stress-related muscle problems, such as lower back and neck pain and aids in gradually restarting exercise after an injury.
