Spinning is the ideal form of group training for developing the full range of cardiovascular qualities. Intense intervals are performed throughout the class, alternating with rest periods. Sometimes very short and powerful, sometimes longer for endurance, these are always performed according to the participant’s level. Each participant can put more or less resistance on the bike and push themselves more or less. Either way, it’s a great way to burn calories and boost your metabolism.
Beat Ride is a class for all-levels that involves cycling to the beat of the music for a full-body workout while using resistance bands for core work! The emphasis on cycling to the beat of the music distinguishes this ride from our other indoor cycling classes. The music is a fusion of sounds that you can hear throughout the entire workout. Push-ups will also be performed for a full body effort during slow, powerful moments in between fast-paced sequences. This class will transform the way you look and feel.
This is a longer format ride designed for all fitness levels with a mix of fast sprints and heavy climbs all timed to the beat of the music. The class is a progressive build; with the second half ending in a crescendo. Irrespective of your fitness level, great choice if you’re looking to burn calories, this class is a great choice if you are looking to challenge your mind, and boost your cardiovascular and muscular endurance.
Intervals spinning class is a structured interval training with a mix of shorter and longer intervals, and the occasional Tabata (with countdowns) to keep things spicy. The intervals always match the music and the music is hand-picked to motivate and inspire! Prepare to sweat.
Power Ride allows you to participate in a bike competition with the other members of your group. You’ll have access to each person’s performance data displayed on a screen. Over the course of the sessions, you’ll be able to assess your progress in power, resistance and endurance and compare it to that of your peers. You can find motivation in trying to improve your own performance; in competing against the best in the session; or simply in following the group for a rewarding workout.
